Privacy policy
Kioday runs entirely on your device. It has no account, no server and no analytics, so there is nothing for us to collect, store or share.
1. Who we are
Kioday is a mobile application published by Kiolabs ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the application handles information. It applies to the Kioday app and to this website.
2. Data we collect
None. Kioday does not ask for your name, email address or phone number, does not create an account for you, and contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting services. We do not receive any information about you or about how you use the app.
3. Data stored on your device
Everything you write in Kioday — your tasks, their categories, the days you planned, your history and your settings — is saved only in the app's private storage on your device. It never leaves the device, and we have no way to read it. Your device's own backup system may include this data if you have enabled backups; that copy is governed by Apple's or Google's terms, not ours.
4. Notifications
If you enable reminders, they are scheduled locally by your operating system. The reminder text is not sent to us or to any third party.
5. Third parties
The app itself connects to no third-party service. The stores that distribute it (Google Play and the App Store) collect their own download and purchase data under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. Some book links on this website are affiliate links; if you follow one, the destination store may set its own cookies. We receive no personal data from those links.
6. Deleting your data
You can clear individual tasks and history inside the app at any time. Uninstalling Kioday removes all of its stored data from your device permanently. Because we hold nothing, there is no request to send us and nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
7. Children
Kioday is suitable for general audiences and collects no data from anyone, including children.
8. Your rights
Data-protection law gives you rights of access, correction, erasure and portability over personal data held about you. Since we hold no personal data, these rights have no data to act on — your information is already exclusively in your own hands.
9. Changes to this policy
If a future version of Kioday adds a feature that needs data to leave your device — optional sync, for example — we will update this policy and describe the change in the app before that feature is enabled.
