Terms of use
Kioday is a small offline app. These terms set out what you can expect from it and what we ask of you in return.
1. Agreement
By installing or using Kioday you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app. Kioday is published by Kiolabs ("we", "us").
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Kioday on devices you own or control, for personal or professional purposes. The app, its name, its design and its code remain ours.
3. What you may not do
Do not copy, resell, rent or redistribute the app, reverse-engineer it except where the law expressly permits, remove or alter its notices, or use it in a way that breaks applicable law.
4. Your content, your responsibility
Everything you write in Kioday is stored only on your device and belongs to you. We never see it, so we can neither recover nor restore it. If your content matters to you, keep a copy elsewhere: uninstalling the app, clearing its storage, resetting or losing the device will delete it permanently.
5. Reminders are not guarantees
Reminders are scheduled by your operating system and may be delayed or suppressed by battery saving, permissions, restarts or system settings. Do not rely on Kioday alone for anything time-critical, medical, financial or otherwise consequential.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time. Updates arrive through the store you installed from; keeping the app up to date is your choice, and older versions may stop working with newer operating systems.
7. Price
Any price, purchase, refund or subscription is handled entirely by the store that distributed the app, under that store's own terms. We do not process payments ourselves.
8. Third-party links
This website may link to books or other products, and some of those links may be affiliate links from which we could earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We are not responsible for third-party sites, their content or their practices, and a link is not an endorsement of every claim made there.
9. No warranty
Kioday is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost data, missed tasks or reminders, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you, including consumer rights.
11. Ending the agreement
You may end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the app. We may end it if you breach these terms.
12. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Questions: hello@kiolabs.com.
